Bio
Iris Lavy is a multidisciplinary artist, with education in music and art. She is currently focused on painting and collage, and also explores using recycled materials, creating environmental statements with sculptures and installations made from post consumer materials, incorporating recycled with photography, paint and collage.
Iris won awards and exhibited her art in solo and group shows in New York City, in galleries, such as Gallery Gaia in DUMBO, Brooklyn, (Disposition, solo show, 2015), alternative spaces – Irondale Theater Gallery in Fort Green, Brooklyn (Journey, solo show, 2016), art fairs – Fountain Art Fair (with Hullabaloo collective, 2014), and museums – MoMA PS1 (Art Amnesty, group show, 2015)
She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
